Handling
The location of the city Luebeck exhibits several key advantages. The city belongs to the southwest region of the Baltic Sea and hence is eminently connected to the northern German economic area. This is ensured by the direct access to BAB as well as the Elbe-Luebeck-Kanal, a canal which connects the city and hence the site to German inland waterways.
Lagerhaus Luebeck is provided with 2 quay facilities with a length of 120 and 110 metres.
Water depth is 8 metres and ships up the size of approximately 10.000t can be handled.
To ensure excellent efficiency and high flexibility, the transshipment takes places with hydraulic excavators that can be equipped with a clam shell , a magnet system or other appliances according to the various goods arriving.
